CISG Ltd. recently showcased its expertise and leadership in the commissioning of hydroelectric generators by overseeing the testing and commissioning of the Red Rock Falls hydroelectric generators in Iron Bridge, Ontario. Through meticulous planning, technical proficiency, and effective project management, CISG Ltd. ensured the seamless integration of the generators, paving the way for sustainable energy production. CISG lead the commissioning alongside the OEM, Andritz Hydro, and Owner, Evolugen, with a scope of work including overseeing the end stages of construction, verification of all auxiliary equipment (pre-commissioning), functional testing of all associated systems (dry-commissioning), as well as the unit startup and wet-commissioning (Rotor Balancing and Vibration Signature, Saturation Curves, TIF and Waveform Deviation, First Synchronization, Load Rejections, Noise Measurements, Air Flow Measurements, Generator Heat Runs).
