CISG is pleased to be featured in the Greater Peterborough Area Economic Development Corporation “Made In Peterborough” advertising campaign.
The campaign, which includes a video and print advertisements, features local businesses that enjoy the benefits of Peterborough while reaching larger markets. Bob Jameson, CEO of CISG comments that Peterborough offers “a better quality of life and quality of workmanship” than larger centres. Other businesses featured in the video include Pepsi QTG, GE, Siemens and Hispano-Suiza.

CISG Proudly Supports Community College Graduates
Many of the current staff of CISG are Fleming College Graduates and this is not a coincidence. Bob Jameson, CISG President is a graduate himself of the Certified Electrical Technician program. "Graduates of this program learn real world skills and can join our company and apply these skills immediately", says Jameson. "I am a strong supporter of education at the college level and have become an active alumnus with the local college in Peterborough."

CISG Consultants Travel the World
In a rare pause from world travel, James Bernard, a consultant with CISG was at the head office in Peterborough Ontario yesterday. Since joining the company in July 2006, Jim has worked on projects in Iran, India and Korea specializing in generator start-up and site commissioning. "Iran is a country that is very difficult to describe… you need to be there to truly understand how the people live," says Jim. "The projects are fascinating, grand in scale but the climate takes your breath away with temperatures well over 100 degrees consistently."
